Scanning in app "Manage Physical Inventory Count" doesn't work

Dear Gurus,

Our requirements is use the app "Manage Physical Inventory Count" with barcode scanning. I'm in the detail page of physical inventory document, I tap scan button then scan the barcode ,and sap cannot search the material I scanned,and I'm pretty sure that the information in the barcode is correct. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Hi,

If you are using the scanner to get to the item, you will have to use a nr of digits that matches the number from MMNR - Material master number ranges, in other words if in MMNR you have 8 leading zeroes, you will have to use the same in the barr code scanner.

i wish i could help, facing the same issue here. 

Moreover, when i manually insert the EAN (linked to material master) the system recognizes it and adds the associated material for counting... But when scanning the barcode it doesn't work, also appears message "no items found" 😞

Why does this happen?
