SAPWEBIDE Orion Gives Error "An error has occured see the log file null"

I have installed jdk and jre from oracle site and downloaded sap web ide zip folder from https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#. when i unzip the folder and try to run orion, it gives the error "An error has occured see the log file null".

screen shot of the error is attached. Any help is highly appreciated.

Did you set JAVA_HOME for Path in the environment?

Can you open the terminal or PowerShell then type this command:

java -version

@tinh trtinhtd yes i tried setting java home variable but it didnt work too. and when we install jre do we need to set the envoirment variable seperately? isnt jre for the same purpose.

Could you please open orion.ini? try to change the port to another number like that?

@tinhtd no luck after changing the port, same behavior. furthermore i tried to find out if my 8080 port is already bieng used by any application but got no response, i guess it is not bieng used by any application. please view the screenshot below

Finally the issue is resolved. It was due to java version. we exactly need java 1.8 and same jre version and webide runs smoothly. please review below details.
