Hi All,
I am trying to print the SAP script in Heavy(bit think) A4 paper in Canon C5051i printer.
All works fine as usual when I select the paper type A4-Plain1 (64-81 g/m2) in the printer.
But as and when I select the paper type in the printer as A4-Heavy 1 (106-163 g/m2), which is bit thicker A4 paper, I get the below error in the printer and blinks the light.
"The most proper size A4 is not available"
Appreciate your help if you have printed SAP printouts in A4 thicker paper please. I can not find the place in SAP script to mention the thickness of the Page.
Thank you
Iver

Hi Iver,
There is no setting, that I know of, in the SAP system to set the thickness of the paper. Also, the error comes from the printer side, so it would be the best to ask the printer vendor support of Canon about it.

Hi!
I have the same problem on a Ricoh-printer. The windows-driver has a setting for the thickness of the paper. Printing in Windows is working.
When I print in SAP on the same Windows-Printer, it doesn't work, error message is that the paper doesn't fit because of thickness. I think SAP is overruling this.
Any ideas how to solve this?
