SAPGui installation error after changing installation path. Error codes: 0x80070002 and 0x80004005

Hello, I tried installing SAPGui on windows 11 and after clicking through the installer for the frontend I changed my installation path to my D:\ drive. SAP then added a "\\?\" to the front of my installation path, the installation then failed giving me the following error:

After this I can no longer select which modules to install or where to install and the installer just immediately goes to "Scanning installation data".

Any help would be appreciated,

What is the version of SAPGUI? are you using the latest version SAPGUI 7.70 with latest SPS?

Yes, I am using the latest version.
