sapcrypto.dll is missing -> DLENOACCESS

Hello,

I wanted to start my NW Trial Version but it gives me an error DLLOADLIB( )==DLENOACCESS -> SAPCRPTYO.DLL missing

Now I started searching and I figured out that this is a file of SAP Cryptocraphics and I could download it from SAP Service Place. So I logged on with my S-User but I wasn't able to Access the download area.

Is this really the Problem with my NW Trial Version to start and if so, where can I can I get the SAPCRYPTO.DLL file from?

In the control center it has some errors saying something like

'SAP Basis System: Msg server hardware ID missing (HWID_PENDING)

Hi Chris,

copying the SAPCRYPTO.DLL didn't help. From the control center (SAPMMC) I can see in the process list that the message server is running (green light) but the dispatcher is pending (yellow light).

Try to reinstall the sap host agent.

Please check the log files and paste possible error messages here.

Hello all,

thanks for your replies. I'm running a NW 7.02 SP6 Trial version and it was working fine before it started complaining about this missing file (SAPCRYPTO.DLL). How can this be?

Hi Thomas,

Could you try reinstalling the sap host agent?

Or simply put the SAPCRYPTOLIB files into directory "C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe"

The user that executes the sap start service should have access to the directory (at least read permissions).

Is the name correct: SAPCRPTYO.DLL ?

If yes, then it is a typo.

The SAPCRYPTOLIB/CommonCryptoLib is part of the kernel. Which kernel version/patch level is being used?
