SAP Workzone Local Entry Point plan availability

Hi

SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition - Local Entry Point Business Solutions is in General Availabilty as of April 17 2025

I am following the SAP documentation for creating a local entry point in SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition. The guide states that I need to create an instance of the build-workzone-standard service with the local-entry-point plan in the SAP BTP cockpit.

However, when I try to create a service instance, I do not see the local-entry-point plan listed under the available plans or entitlements for build-workzone-standard. Australia Sydney AWS.

  • Where can I find the local-entry-point plan?

  • Are there any prerequisites or steps I might have missed to make this plan available?

Cheers

JSP

It appears that the service plan "local-entry-point" is now partially available on our side. Since Thursday or Friday, it has been listed as an entitlement in our TDD and ePaaS Global Accounts. However, it is still missing in the Pay-As-You-Go account. I’m already in contact with SAP regarding this via an open incident (533997/2025). According to their latest update, a fix is "hopefully" expected to be rolled out within the next few days.

It should now be available for Pay-As-You-Go as well. Can you please confirm?

Yes, the "local-entry-point" plan is now available in our Pay-As-You-Go account.

You need to set the entitlement first:

Hi Ryan, it's still not available on our side. The entitlement sources for the Global Account are "Base" and "Pay-As-You-Go for SAP BTP for partners". Is there still a restriction? Last week I had a call with a SAP colleague and was told that the feature is only available internally and the general availability date has not yet been set

Hi Ryan, I have never seen this screen. Is that available for SAP Customers or SAP Partners? Where would I find it? Or do you share SAP internal information in a public forum?

Sorry guys, I'm not aware of whether the screenshot is internal only or not. BTP control center should not be internal coz you can see it anywhere in the internet. It's already GA, however, I think it is only available for some SKUs. It would be better to check whether the entitlement can be assigned for the specific commercial license.

SAP BTP Control Center is an internal tool that allows internal SAP stakeholders to create and manage their global accounts, since it is an internal tool, it is not possible to grant the access to it. You need to get in touch with your Account Executive in order to activate required services: 2626344 - Who is the SAP Account Manager for my company?
