I understand that a normal function of SAP Web Dispatcher is to work as a reverse proxy to manage traffic from the internet and route to backend SAP. However, is it possible to configure as forward proxy? We want to be able to initiate calls to the Ariba network from ECC behind the company Firwwall / DMZ to the Ariba network that is out on the internet. The client is very specific on using SAP Web Dispatcher between SAP and the Internet but we don't know how to setup as forward proxy. Please advise if this is possible, and if so, how?
