SAP vulnerability check automation through Solman

Can it be configured through solman?

So basically the need is,

we get regular updates on security patches on Patch day (https://support.sap.com/en/my-support/knowledge-base/security-notes-news.html?anchorId=section_370125364)

Is there a way we can use solution manager system to get the list of notes that are relevant to our landscape that needs to be implemented.

Hi Varun, depending on your requirements you could do something with Configuration Validation and Dashboard Builder. Or perhaps have a look at SAP EarlyWatch Alert Workspace or System Recommendations to see if this fits your needs. Good luck. BR Dino

Hi I would think that one can use validation report or security notes in solution manager.

just to clarify. here is what was communicated to me.

"We check the sap patch day wiki every month and check each sap security note will it be impacting our existing landscape or not

But this is now all manual work and we check once in a month and take actions.

Customer is looking for some automatic mechanism that vulnerabilities are checked automatically and an alert thrown where there is a critical threat."

I explained that this is what EWA is used for and we can get detailed information in launchpad.

can you please confirm if I am correct?
