sap.ui.fl library missing

Hi All ,

       I used smart filter in my sap ui5 XML view. It's showing the following error . I am using ui5 version 1.26 , its recent one I downloaded from SAP download center.

 

Please help me to overcome this.

Hi Sathish,

Make sure you include the namespace in the view.  See the example...

Hello Jamie Cawley,

I am also facing the same issue and I am sure that I included the correct namespace. After investigation found that the sap.ui.fl library is missing  in UI5 libraries downloaded from the Marketplace.

In the above screenshot, the fl library is not found.. Any help regarding the same would be of great help.

Hi Vijay,

The fl library does not exist in version 1.26, it comes into existence in 1.27.0.

Hi Jamie,

Few Controls like VariantManagment need sap.ui.fl library and using Static library in Eclipse fails when compared to online sdk(https://sapui5.netweaver.ondemand.com/resources/sap-ui-core.js).

Could you point me to an alternative to use those controls with static library?

Hi Jamie,

I went through the post and it said was problem with downloading libraries from Eclipse and downloading from download center should solve it.

Here are my observations:

. I downloaded the version UI5TOOL10_0-10011992 which is (1.24.1) and it is working fine.

. I downloaded the latest update UI5TOOL11P_6-10011992 which is(1.26.9) and it does not work when I include sap.ui.comp in data-sap-ui-libs.

Hi Jamie,

On my Eclipse, I've updated my UI5 libraries to 1.26.9. The reason was to utilize all the improvements that have been made. I'm surprised that we have to go back to 1.24 to resolve this. I'd appreciate if the issue can be used, so that the new libraries can be used by developers.

We raised a ticket and got the following response. Waiting for the next version 1.26.10 to become available in Eclipse Marketplace.

problem is fixed with SAPUI5 version 1.26.10 (according to Peter

Muessig). Please upgrade to version 1.26.10.
