SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD Connection time

Dear Experts,

           my SAP Solution Tools Plug-In is  2008_1_710 0022.    sm59  config  SAP-SUPPORT_NOTE_DOWNLOAD   .  when i  use http proxy option to connect test ,  it's take long  time [9746ms].   if i remove  http proxy  option  data ,  it's take little time [1793ms].  I  want  use http proxy option and reduce connection time ,  how to deal with it .  thanks.

you should check your proxy performance, especially network hops (traceroute ...,) if your connection takes much longer with proxy, so the reason should be in your proxy.
