SAP Standard Kafka Integration Options

Hello,

I am looking for a SAP Standard integration betweeen Kafka and R3/HANA to replace HANA Streaming Analytics.

We need to replace  HANA Streaming Analytics because it is going out of support (cant find the note at the moment) and somehow even more important the installtion guide for the kafka adapters wants extremely old kafka-client jar files as well some some avro jars that have CVEs and do not have any updates.

Our existing R3/Oracle uses PO and a 3rd party adapter for Kafka but the performance is not great so we were hoping for a much better solution.

We are onpremise on RHEL.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hello AngeloRuggiero,

Have you already tried the Kafka adapter of the Integration Suite? But it cannot be exposed via the Cloud Connector. It is currently only available between cloud applications.

Additionally, there are  also Kafka add-ons from the companys Avato or Init.

thanks, but i assume the cloud connector runs in the cloud thats a no no for us. We are purely on prem
