Hi,
my company uses the Signavio Process Manager Integration with Signavio Process Governance in order to use data from Dictionary entries and use them in our workflows. We have a named user account (the account of a real person) selected to enable the integration
I was interested in learning whether others use generic accounts for the same purpose. If so, what was your rationale to use the generic account? It would be great if you could share your experience. Thanks.
Kind regards,
Vladimir

Hi Vladimir,
thank you for reaching out! The process of setting up the integration between SAP Signavio Process Governance and SAP Signavio Process Manager is described here.
Instead of using a named user account with an attached paid license, you can also create a "technical user" and attach an API Edition License. Please create a ticket in SAP for Me if you have no API Edition license available, there is no additional cost.
Please make sure that you can access the inbox of the email address of the "technical user" to verify the account and set the password.
Please check also the access rights via Group assignment for this user depending on the API operations to be done in SAP Signavio Process Governance (e.g. access to specific dictionary categories, admin rights, etc.).
Best regards
Manuel
