SAP Service and Asset Manager 2305+ : send push notification when Work Order is unassigned from user

For SAP Service and Asset Manager 2305+, there is the requirement to send push notification to iOS device when a Work Order is unassigned from end user.

My questions are:

- Can this functionality be achieved with out of the box SSAM 2305 version and higher?

- If customizations are needed, are the steps below making sense?

1. define custom ABAP class handler for PUSH oMDO, with custom assignment logic (to query the subject user)

2. under configpanel, specify the above Z class to the PUSH oMDO and PUSH scenarios

3. under configpanel, specify desired fields and filters for the PUSH exchange object

Any inputs and comments are appreciated.
