SAP S/4HANA 2023, Fully-Activated Appliance on Google Cloud

Hi All,

Am deploying SAP S/4HANA 2023, Fully-Activated Appliance on Google Cloud with below results:

SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS01, Fully-Activated Appliance - successful ✅

SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS02, Fully-Activated Appliance - successful ✅

SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS03, Fully-Activated Appliance - software error 🛑

Since my deployment of 2023FPS01 is successful seems my Google Cloud project looks good.

But any advise on why 2023FPS03 got software error when deployed?

Please kindly advise.

Hello Budi,

The problem was caused by a limitation in the used by you service account, which disabled direct OS login. Once this is enabled, the S/4HANA 2023 FPS03, Fully Activated Appliance deploys successfully.

Thanks Tsvetinka that's correct. The direct OS login on mine is disabled, but somehow FPS01 and FPS02 can bypass that. So now I enabled it for FPS03.

The issue was caused by the setup of the service account, which prevented direct OS login. Once this is enabled the SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS03, Fully-Activated Appliance deployment completes successfully.
