Sap Replication server heterogeneous edition for Oracle

Good day,

Currently we have licensed SAP ASE + SAP(Sybase) Rep Server but both products are licensed independently(not as SAP ASPE) for ASE to ASE replication.

Now we are looking forward to use SAP SRS for replication from Oracle to Oracle. So SAP Rep SRS heterogeneous should be used.

-Does SAP SRS Heterogeneous includes SAP Enterprise Connect for Oracle and Rep agent for Oracle in the licensing?

-We asume SAP RS heterogenous must be licensed as a separated option from our current installation?

You can only license 3rd-party replication as an option of ASP. There is no SRS Heterogeneous separate product now available.

When licensing ASE as SRS for Oracle replication, it does include the Replication Agent for Oracle and ECO connection from SRS to Oracle for the DSI.

You will need to speak to your SAP Sales representative on licensing, etc.

Currently you can replicate from Oracle versions up to Oracle 18, but there are no plans to support replication from Oracle 19 or higher with RAO as Oracle has removed the API used by RAO for replication from Oracle 19.
