SAP PI Java Migration to PO

Currently We have SAP PI Java Server we need to migrate to PO want to know just upgrading the server to latest SP level help or i have to build new Pralled landscape as their is no ABAP system for this

Please note that It is mandatory to execute a Configuration Wizard in PI/PO after any major operational change.
A major operational change can be a new installation, a release upgrade or a System Copy. You can find every configuration wizard in the following SAP Note: 1286428 Configuration Wizard: PI Wizard Templates overview.
