SAP Personas - Ghost Field on F4 Search screen

Hi.

I am on the latest SP18, ECC latest patch.

I am building a custom Z program and I have experienced a strange thing. On one of my quick tests on flavour, I put one test field. Later I deleted that field, but it is somehow stuck and it randomly shows itself, like the picture below

On some F4 screens, I am able to enter Change and identify it (session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/lblPersonas_170073543528075"), but on some, I can not even Enter the change, because it's stuck

Console shows it can not read 'getChildren'

How could I fix this?

Maybe thru personas admin?

Yes, I tried Webgui. The same.

I already tried deleting it, but it popped up somewhere else 🙂

Since this is a Z program, that I am building my flavor, I found a workaround with a different approach (not even using serach for this specific fields.

So if I will come across something simmilar in standard search filed, I'll raise another question.

Tamas, thank you for your input. I tried all this already, and additionally deleted versions, did another clear, compress etc.

But still, the problem exists.

I think maybe the problem is because of the update from SP 17 to SP18.

Do you have the same problem when you run the flavor in webgui instead of Slipstream or is this specific to SE?

If you can edit the flavor either in SE or webgui, you could try deleting the unwanted control.

Try permanently deleting all old versions of the flavor via Admin and also compress the Undo history. Clear the flavor cache and reload the flavor, hopefully this will make a difference.
