SAP MDK Object table Single Select mode instead of multi select mode

Hi Community,

I would like to activate single-selection mode for an Object table, similar to the functionality available for a Picklist. However, so far I've only been able to find the multi-selection option.

Is single-select mode currently supported for Object tables? If not, what would be the recommended approach or workaround to achieve similar functionality?

Thanks in advance!

Can you elaborate on the scenario?  If you want only one selection you don't need to go into multiple select just trigger your action in the OnPress of the Object cell rather than trying to show a secondary checkbox and requiring an additional press on a button to execute.

If you really need the secondary press you can use either an accessory image or icon stack image to show the selected item and manage it through your metadata.

Thanks, I was thinking on an scenario where the user selects an item from the list and then can press 3 different action buttons.

Then I would suggest either the accessory image or icon stack approach and possibly changing the backgound color to make it more visually clear what was selected.

Ok, thanks. I hope this can be added in the future as standard feature since it can add new possibilities to the way we handle table objects.

As this functionality is currently not available in MDK standard control, I would suggest you to open a feature request here.
