SAP MDK action bar not showing button properly

Hi Experts,

MDK action bar button text is not showing properly.

If the device width is small, the button text is dis appeared and it is showing as overflow menu button, and it is also showing the i18n property text as well.

Yes, we are aware of the OVERFLOW_MENU_BUTTON text issue and are working on a fix for a future patch. We are also looking into enhancing the logic for when the overflow is displayed to better handle certain scenarios.

Hi Bill,

Yes I am experiencing the same issue with mdk app version 6.3.6.

This comment may help find the solution, doing some testing I verified that this is not happening with mdk client version 6.3.4 or 6.3.5.

All my testing was done using android mdk client.

I've been trying to reproduce this in one of my test apps and am not seeing the same behavior. Can you share the metadata of the page? Is that toolbar item in the tab page or the tab container page? Are there other hidden buttons in the bar?

We are currently using MDK Client Version 6.3.5 and we see this issue happening randomly.

I would suggest testing with MDK 6.3.8 and/or also testing with MDK 23.4.0 (latest release which changed to cloud numbering for the versioning) and see if the issue still occurs.
