SAP MDG Parallel processing in Mass processing of data

Hello Gurus,

We have a requirement to configure Consolidation and mass processing using Change Request for client, version 2023. For mass process, they have requirement to process multiple CRs for same entity ( which I understand is parallel processing). However when I am creating configID for activation of material using CR, I cannot select my CR type(which is configured for parallel processing). I am using copy of CR type MATL0A, Business Activity MATA. Kindly guide how can I achieve this requirement of activating material with CR for mass processing using parallel processing.

Hi

The Consolidation and Mass Processing has been build to handle data at object level and on activation of the request, it is looking to lock the entire object into the CR. Hence any Change Request Type which has scope limitation which would be done in case of parallel processing will not show up. 

A Classic indicator for this is that when we load one plant of a material, the Mass Processing is going to pull the entire data and process it.....so when writing back it would also do the same.

You need to relook at the design to consider this and have an alternate solution.
