SAP Lumira Designer- Chart properties are getting reset after execution

Hello All,

We are facing a strange issue with the chart component. This issue occurs when there is no data available in the chart for the default filters applied when an application is executed. Later when we change the filters within application and if data is available, the charts shows the data but all the properties( like type of chart, title, horizontal axis title, vertical axis title, and other properties) set in chart configuration is reset. This behavior is causing even the chart type changed and all the saved chart configuration properties are lost. Please help!

Hi Jess

We had the very same problem in my last project. We were told it is a bug.

As a workaround we had to write a routine that checks if there is data for the default filters before rendering the chart. When no data a message indicating there is no data available is shown instead then prompts displayed.
