Sap Lumira Designer 2.3 - Integration of SM30 - Table Maintenance View

Hi guys,

we are using Lumira Designer 2.3 and are wondering, if it is possible to integrate some good, old SM30 maintenance table view in a Lumira Designer Dashboard.

Any ideas?

hey,

The app contains a Navigation Panel on the left side and a Crosstab on the right. Thus you can add and remove dimensions as usual by drag-and-drop.

Context Menu: you can right-on any element in Navigation Panel and Crosstab to see all the analytic operations. E.g. you could click on a column header and exclude a measure:

afaik there´s no direct way to read the data directly from a table.

You need to use a BW Query, CDS View or at least a BO Universe.

thank you for the quick reply.

That`s what I`ve also found.

Here some remarks to your proposals:

1. BW Query - well I did not want to load my table into an infoprovider (dso) to keep the solution as lean as possible

2. CDS View - unfortunately a rather old system, < NW 7.4, no HANA

3. BO Universe - not used as a strategic component. All data modeling should be done in SAP BW - also with regards to the decommissioning of SAP BO

Thus, not a direct no-brainer, right?

For CDS Views HANA is not needed, it also works on any DB Business Warehouse system.

Yes I know, but you need at least NW ABAP 7.4 SP5, right? (that`s what I don`t have - see above)
