Before update it worked very fine and my sap user has already the right permissions to make a print preview.

Does anyone the same problem and can help me ?
I already reinstalled and updated SAP Java GUI 7.50 rev. 1 to SAP Java GUI 7.50 rev. 7 and its not worked.
Here the Screeshots:

the only thing what works is the Text preview but i can not work with that very well.

Please help.

Thanks

If you save the PDF document to your local drive and try to open it directly from mac, does it works ?

The migration to Catalina removes a lot of security settings, maybe it is related to this. (for example sophos is not allowed to scan the whole device anymore ... )

According to SAP note 2511185, macOS Catalina is not yet supported. So all kind of issues might come up after upgrading your Mac to Catalina.

The upcoming SAP GUI for Java 7.50 rev 8 is expected to support macOS Catalina and is currently in testing. In case you are interested in the current test version and are willing to provide feedback in a timely manner in case you run into issues related to this new macOS, you can open a support incident on component BC-FES-JAV requesting support for Catalina. In your particular case, please also create a trace file with trace key POLICYEXCEPTION according to SAP note 683960 and add it as attachment to the support incident.

Hello Team,

We are facing a similar issue with one of our User who has Mac OS Catalina. We are trying to update Java 7.5 rev 8 and facing this issue. Did anyone face this issue yet? The user currently has rev 3 installed in the system.

This looks like the wrong installer used for macOS. Please go to the download page and double check the platform first before downloading the installer. Unfortunately the file names for the various platforms differ only in their numbers and do not include the platform names. The one for macOS ends with 94.JAR.

Hello Rolf,

For one of our User whose MAC has been updated to Catalina the print preview works, but not for the rest.

Can you confirm if this issue is tested in rev 8 yet and if this issue is resolved?

Hello,

We fixed an issue caused by the introduction of a new sub folder in /System/Library/Fonts by macOS Catalina.

Please install SAP GUI for Java 7.50 rev 8 and verify, if the print preview now is working correctly.

Best regards

Rolf-Martin
