SAP Jam Bubble Notification

Hi guys,

Does anyone know why in the android version below 8 sap jam mobile apps can not display bubble notification?

We tried using some devices, in android 6 and 7 the notif is not displayed but in android version 8 the application shows the bubble notif

This is actually an android issue, it did not have a standard way of doing this. Many manufacturers had added their own handling for this in, but they didn't all work the same. With Android 8, this is now a standard part of Android that can now be utilized, however, the bubble is actually a count of items in the notification area, and when you clear this, even without opening the application where the notification came from, the bubble is also cleared.

I'm not technical enough to answer this but I remember there were limitations with how notifications are working in earlier Android versions.
