Hi,

Stop SAPinst.

Can you connect to database level and delete SAP* user from <schema>.USR02 table.

Post that setup SAP profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 in instance profile.

Take SAP restart.

Login with user SAP* and passwd as pass. reset password of DDIC.

Execute SAPinst again and continue from the point you stopped

Provide new DDIC password.

Hope this helps.

  • The correct default password of the user "SAP*" is "PASS" (all in uppercase ;-));

Hi Isaias,

Even lowercase works, I was using uppercase all the time but recently came to know that both works 🙂
