What are the role and responsibilities of a Functional consultant?

What are the issues or gap comes in implementation project?

1. Get the requirements from the client. Employees work schedules, absences, attendances etc details.

2. Start configuring in sap systems.

3. If any issues come.. try to post here in the portal.
