Dear Experts,
I have 2 nodes for sap hana in High availability and they are in sync mode. Due to some issue in Site A (not sure what was the issue) a fail over happen between node A and B and Site B becomes the primary. Now i want my system in its earlier configuration as it was.Could you suggest me what i could do to achieve the same
Host are running on SUSE 12.
Also when i am checking on node A my hana DB is not running now.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi pnagar,
During time of disaster takeover happens i.e.
Primary site become Secondary
&
Secondary site becomes Primary
Easiest way to achieve what you asked for, is to disable the system replication and trigger the system replication again with Site A as Primary and Site B as Secondary.
or
Perform Takeover operation once again, so that this time Site A become Primary and Site B becomes Secondary.
I hope it helps.
Regards
Deepak

But in system replication tab in hana studio its not reflecting any replication status.
Hi pnagarThat means there is no current system replication happening.
Please go to HANA Studio --> Configuration & Monitoring --> Configure System Replication
There you will list of actions like
1) Enable Replication
2) Register Secondary System
3) Un-Register Secondary System
4) Perform Take Over
I hope it helps

Deepak
