SAP HANA studio ver 2.3.70 is getting stuck during Table Function/Procedure creation

Hi Guys,

Few days ago I've updated my SAP HANA Studio to version 2.3.70 and together with my colleagues noticed that we are not able creating Table Function/Procedure from scratch -> HANA Studio is going stuck and we cannot do anything. We can create new object but after typing few signs it is stop working.

Have you ever had similiar issue? How can I manage it? My colleague also checked that in prev version everything works fine.

The screen shot shows, you tested it by using some random input.
Do you still see the same behavior with the meaningful input?

we got the same Problem with the SAP HANA Tools.
Did you find a solution?

It has nothing to do with what you are typing. Even if its meaningful input SAP HANA Studio stuck.

Problem still exists and what's more SAP HANA Studio also stucks during typing formula in calculated column. I need to type whole formula in one sentence, I cannot start next part of formula from new row because then aslo it crush.

I would suggest trying to reinstall the SAP HANA Studio to see if that resolves the issue. If that doesn't work, you can try resetting the settings in the SAP HANA Studio, as that may help.

sadly non of that worked

The raw SAP HANA Studio installation with all SAP HANA tools, it is working. But as soon as i install the BW Modelling Tools and the ABAP Tools the Problem begins again.

From where do you get these Tools? And what are the wtight tools to install. I installed the tools for Eclipse 4.25

solved my Problem by downloading and installing the last BW Modeling and ABAP Tools from SAP Marketplace instead using those from tools.hana.ondemand.com.

I don‘t understand why that is. Until now there was no Problem in loading the tools from that Page. And we are working with Eclipse/SAP HANA Studio for years.
