SAP HANA Modeling "Calculation View" with "RISE with SAP S4HANA Cloud, Private Edition"

Regarding the link below for "RISE with SAP S4HANA Cloud, Private Edition", the SAP HANA XSA is a separate technical component and not part of a standard installation of an SAP HANA database. So, What is the alternative to do Sap hana modelling in "RISE with SAP S4HANA Cloud, Private Edition" ? I mean create a new Calculation Views, access pre-existing HDI or Schemas without XSA and WebIDE ?

The Web IDE/XSA was replaced by BAS, right ?
So, to have access to my SAP HANA Private Cloud database. Do I need to use SAP HANA Cloud with remote access feature and Cloud Connector ? It would be an answer to my question ?
