Hello everyone,
can it be that there are no more SAP Hana Express licences if the memory is more than 32GB? Some time ago you could buy them in the SAP Store. What is the future of SAP Hana Express?
Because the free tier environment for individuels is being discontinued, I thought I would revive the local Hana. But that gives me a bad feeling.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi akuller,
SAP HANA Express Edition supports a maximum memory capacity of up to 32 GB. For more details, please refer to the following link:
HANA Express Edition Documentation
If you require more than 32 GB of memory, you will need to purchase a license for the SAP HANA Platform Edition. Additional information can be found here:

Charles

Hi akuller,
Regarding HANA Express, here is the only information source I can check.
https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_HANA_EXPRESS_EDITION
I think HANA express will be available as far as HANA platform edition continues 🙂
Best regards,
Charles
@akullerThe upgrade options of SAP HANA, express edition, were discontinued a few years ago due to the very low interest in such upgrades in the ecosystem. Regards. --Witalij
