SAP HANA 2.0, express edition (Virtual Machine Method) authentication failed, UAA not available

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install SAP HANA 2.0, express edition on VM, and got this message:

Authentication failed: UAA not available: Error executing request POST with form parameters https://hxehost:39032/uaa-security/oauth/token: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out (local port 44860 to address 127.0.0.1 (localhost.localdomain), remote port 39032 to address 127.0.0.2 (hxehost. localdomain)).

Failed to get API endpoint.

My API_URL is: htpps://hxehost:39030

Did anyone have this problem and solved?

if you just recently installed your HXE on the vm, sometimes it takes time for the other services (such as UAA) to get instantiated. give it a few minutes and try again. what SP are you running?
