We have recently migrated to the SAP GUI with Secure Login Service and have run into one odd issue that I have not been able to resolve.
We have shortcuts setup for SAP instance access. After users authenticate, the small *.sap shortcut file is delivered to the user's Downloads. They run this file (SAP GUI for Windows is default app), SAP GUI opens, and everything works great. However, even though we have the Reuse parameter set to "0" in the *.sap shortcut file, the file lingers after use and users can use it over and over.
Interestingly, we have the old links that we used before the secure client links. The same Resuse=0 is set in those files and they continue to function as expected. After use, the file is deleted so it cannot be reused.
I am curious if anyone has run into this and how you may have resolved it?
