SAP Fiori - Cross app navigation with huge payload

Hello Experts,

We are trying to perform cross app navigation from SAP Fiori app to SAP web gui transaction with parameters.

In order to do so, 500 line items are manually selected in list report app (not select All), and on click of action the tcode is called along with the parameters.

In the parameters, we send concatenated string of key fields (separated by commas) of all selected items, making the payload huge.

When the payload is huge, the tcode is not called and tcode screen goes into infinite loading till it gets time out.

But the same request works when 350-380 records are selected.

Question: Is there a size limitation on the payload that is sent from source app to target?

Is there a way to resolve this issue?

why show us the globalcontainers?

The payload is in the global container, and intention was to show the content length here, if that is causing the problem. Because I am not sure what else could be.

I am still not able to find solution for this or exact cause of this problem.

But my basic understanding is that - the size limit on payload is imposed by the browser, which is causing the screen go unresponsive and leads to time out.
