Good afternoon,
We are currently running SAP Fiori Client 1.18.5 on our iOS devices and we've been seeing the dreaded "App could not be opened because the SAP UI5 component of the application could not be loaded."
We have recently patched Basis and other components as well as upgraded to PERSONAS SP17.
I have rechecked all the config for the shell plugin and the web dispatcher and all of that looks good. All caches are cleared, we've upgraded the flavours to the new versions.
These particular flavours have been in service for the last two years and we haven't tweaked any of them in a long time having only needed to add some scanning buttons.
We don't have the option to move to a browser based mobile alternative seeing the camera has been blocked from being activated from the browser.
Anything that could help us would be appreciated.
Request clarification before answering.
Good afternoon,
We've set ~USERAGENTCHECK 0 on /sap/bc/se/m and that seems to have worked

Our solution to this issue was the set ~useragentcheck to 0 on /sap/bc/se/m. That has enabled us to continuing use the SAP Fiori Client in our environment.

I guess you're using SAP GUI for HTML (webgui), not Slipstream Engine, correct? What kernel release / patch level is your system on?
Actually, we do not recommend using the SAP Fiori Client anymore. Please refer to note 2992772 for details. You should be able to access the camera from webgui, if you are on a recent kernel. Barcode scanning is possible with webgui.

Hi Tamas,
Yes, we're using Slipstream on SP17. Unfortunately we're stuck with SAP Fiori Client due to security restrictions on web browsers.
We've done some extra testing now that we can get direct access to the ECC URLs rather than trying to trace via Gateway.
What is weird is that we have some systems working, but Production and Pre-Production not. We're looking into this on our side, but any advice welcome as always.
