SAP EnableNow Producer (10.8.9) can not start

I have a problem – as soon as I launch SAP EnableNow Producer (10.8.9) to create a simulation, my computer starts lagging severely, and the Producer becomes unresponsive. I have to force close it through the Task Manager. However, I understand that this is not normal behavior; it should work differently. But I don’t know what to fix yet. My notebook has 16Gb RAM and available space on the disk

Hi Serhii,

If you are using the Cloud version of Enable Now, it is likely that you have an issue with the requirements to run Producer.  Please confirm that your environment, including your PC, complies with the Common Browser Settings and Network Requirements in this document.

If you are using the On Premise version of Enable Now, please look at this document.

Shane

Shane's answer is always correct.

  • If your Producer does not start at all, or crashes when you perform a function, usually your firewall or antivirus is blocking a required file for Producer.
  • If your Producer (and other programs, probably) starts lagging badly when you perform a function, this is usually caused by unacceptably low network speeds. Check your network connectivity, both on and off of VPN. If you access Producer through a VPN, VPN speeds are usually slower. Below 30 Mbps, video calls will lag noticeably. Below < 10 Mbps, Producer usually freezes.
