Hi All,
does anyone know where the language in the Design Studio connection is ontained from?
The language in the properties (image) show EN, but the language that we defined in the CMC is Dutch..
Result is:
- Run the application on BI platform: Lang = dutch which is ok..
- Run the application local for testing: Lang = EN.. no problem because only I am developing
- Run the application on mobile device: Lang = EN .. This is a problem becausie multiple users are using this and english is not maintained in BW..
Please advise..
Thanks,
Dwain

Hi Dwain,
You might also want to check the users default languages on BW on SU01 and their preferences on the BO BI launchpad (not only CMC). As far as I remember the BO BI launchpad setting beats everything else. I had to deal with Japanese and that worked for me. I have not tested mobile though.
Tammy's hint would only make sense if you were running the mobile tests from your client using the QR code for example. Once you are on the mobile app or the BO website this should not impact in any way.
Kind regards
Martin

Thanks guys,
the strange thing about is that is used to work correct.
The language in BW (user) is dutch, the connection in BO is dutch and preference is dutch..
but on mobile it was english..
But after restart of the BO platform is works correct again.
regards,
Dwain

Dwain - just curious - what is the SAP Gui logon language for BW?

My guess is the connection is from the Design Studio client, which per the PAM is only in English - see below:
