Good morning,
I’m testing trial version of Crystal Server 2020. I got license and key valid for 60 days.
After I installed the platform I can’t find Business Views Manager (no icon, no group in Start -> Programs etc.).
Is it proper behaviour? Shall it be like that for trial?
I have compared folders of Crystal Server 2008 and 2020 and I can’t find binary related with Business View Manager (mentioned below).
It is simply not available as it was in old Crystal Server 2008 in similar path:
"X:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\CrystalBVM.exe"
I have checked and I can see this in my fresh installed SAP Crystal 2020 Server software:
"X:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86"
"X:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64" but there is no binary like CrystalBVM.exe in it.
I can provide more details if needed.
Installer used:
CRS202004P_900-70002768_P1.EXE
Components from file:
CRS202004P_900-70002768_P2.RAR
were NOT USED!
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello,
One of the functions of the latest CRS or BOE is the Client tools cannot be installed on the same PC as the Main server, it causes conflicts.
Or you can try installing them on the same PC as your Server install.
What you need to do is install the CRS Client Tools on a different PC to be able to access the BV app. You can access the Client tool Install from the same installer as the CRS install.
