I have used the OData entity path in the Address and using Basic Authentication. But I'm getting error as "Name or service not known". Can you please let me know if any step is missing.

Hi Debashis

Is your on-premise SAP system really accessible from the Internet? That's what Proxy Type = Internet requires. SAP systems are usually behind one or more firewalls, and definitely not accessible from the Internet.

If it's not accessible from the Internet, you need something in place to solve the connectivity issue. Usually that something is Cloud Connector, but it could also be e.g. a reverse proxy in your DMZ.

If the connection goes through Cloud Connector, change the value of Proxy Type to On-Premise. You'll find plenty of blogs in here about how to set up Cloud Connector.

Morten

Hi Morten

I am getting the same issue but I am using 'Edge Integration cell’ runtime. Also, I am able to successully connect to the SAP internal host from connectivity test and even the interface is getting successful to SAP in EIC runtime.

Any idea what needs to be done to get the edmx file in this case?

Shiveta
