SAP Conversational AI chatbot custom entity is not getting applied on Intents automatically.

Can someone suggest how make it happen automatically?

I found an alternate approach, but very cumbersome.

Click on every expression inside the intent, you will find your custom entity. If not visible try clicking on Train button.

Click on custom entity and then it is done.

In the below image #Cuisine is custom entity and #Nationality is Gold entity.

If you're trying to "overwrite" gold entities like nationality, Andreas answer below is correct.

If it's about generally defining custom free entities than there is no other way than to go through the expressions and tag your free entity manually as the context within the expression is important and the system can't automatically tag all occurrences. For custom restricted entities, this is different: as they only match on the word/token, they're automatically recognized w/o manually annotating training data. But they're less powerful.

according to the user guide in SAPhelp:

It is not possible to turn off gold entities detection. To avoid gold entity detection, try to
improve your training dataset so that a custom entity is detected instead of a gold one.

Looks like it is all about training. Try to rephrase the sentence as well and bring more examples.
