SAP Cloud Applications Studio 2311 (Pilot)

Dear SAP experts,

unfortunately, the pilot version of SAP Cloud Applications studio (currently version 2311) is still very unstable.

My setup: Macbook pro M1 chip with Parallels. I installed cloud application studio within parallels and windows 11.

The debugging stops always and says that connection is lost, even after activating and restarting multiple times.

On top of that, mouse over variable names doesn´t show any information anymore.

Can you please and stabilize the pilot version? The issues exist for years....

Hi rufat,

There is a limitation with the Microsoft Visual Studio Isolated Shell 2015 which causes the Cloud Applications Studio to freeze. This matter is already being addressed by SAP with Microsoft.

Please make use of the non-pilot version of the Studio for debugging purposes.

Is SAP still expecting people to use the non pilot version for debugging or have they actually solved basic issues using it?
