SAP Cloud ALM support for monitoring Content server

Hi

We are considering moving our Operations from Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM  (CALM).

One of the questions for which I do not have a clear answer is the monitoring of Content Server.

As I understand it Content Server will be supported for used with S/4Hana. Therefore it will be available in the landscape after Solution Manager reaches the end of mainstream maintenance at the end of 2027.

Any advice / guidance / input will be appreciated.

Gavin

@MarcinOzdzinski , thank you for your response

FYI, I found the following interesting notes:

1722076 - The Future of SAP MaxDB

1178367 - SAP MaxDB: End of Support Dates

719971 - SAP Content Server release strategy

Note 719971 his the following interesting bits:

* SAP Content Server 7.5 (and higher) can be used with any application release, including Business Suite 7, ECC, S/4HANA, etc.

* SAP Content Server shares the same maintenance dates and strategy as SAP Business Suite 7 and SAP S/4HANA

* After the End of Maintenance of SAP MaxDB (see SAP Note 1178367 - SAP MaxDB: End of Support Dates), SAP Content Server may only be used to store documents in the file system. There are no plans to support other database systems for storage in the future

Thank you for highlighting this!
