SAP Cloud ALM - Notifications to multiple roles/team members

Is there a way to notify from the tool more persons (such as the responsible functional consultant and technical consultant) related to progress of the defect, and not only the person who’s working on the defect?

I am unaware of any notification option, but you might look at using Involved Parties under Additional Information to add additional people to a Defect. You can then filter by Additional Parties using the "Adapt Filter" option. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.
