In SAP Cloud ALM Operations Integration & Exception Monitoring, our L1/L2 Support is assigned to a custom role collection which contains the role "ops_im_IntegrationOwner". But the users cannot perform any actions on Alerts. They should be able to at least perform these actions:
We reviewed the documentation and saw that the next possible role would be "ops_im_IntegrationArchitect". But this also authorizes to adjust KPIs, thresholds etc. So it is unacceptable for our L1/L2 support.
How can we grant basic L1/L2 permissions for Monitoring Use Cases and alerts in SAP Cloud ALM, especially Integration & Exception Monitoring, without granting access to configuration tasks?
Request clarification before answering.
The "Integration Owner" role (ops_im_IntegrationOwner) is roughly equivalent to the "Viewer", "Consumer", and "Analyst" roles in other SAP Cloud ALM for Operations use cases (e.g. "Health Monitoring Viewer", "Job Monitoring Consumer ", and "Configuration Monitoring Analyst" respectively). The intended use case is that these users have read only access to the Operations use cases. This restriction also applies to the Alerting for those metrics.
If you currently wish for users to have the ability to edit Alerts in the Operations use cases, they need to have the next tier of role collection for that use case. As you have already mentioned, for Integration & Exception Monitoring it is "Integration Architect".
If you feel that this behaviour does not align with your business case or usage, and that a separate Role Collection should be created specially for L1/L2 type support (Read only, except for Alerts), please create a request in the SAP Cloud ALM for Operations Campaign in the SAP Customer Influence portal. If you outline your business case there, the Developers may provide a new role collection as per your requirement. If they decide to pursue it further, an item will be created in the Roadmap for SAP Cloud ALM with a projected delivery date. Then if it is delivered, the SAP Cloud ALM What's New page will be updated with the detailed information about how to use the new functionality.

We also found out that these delivered roles don't match with the roles of business users, here mentioned as L1/L2 support roles.
Therefore I already raised a ticket in the "Customer Influence" board.
