SAP Cloud ALM and Servicenow Interation Error - 502 BAD_GATEWAY

Dear All,

I am getting below error while sending incidents details from SAP ALM to Servienow. The webhook configured with LMS End Point with LMS Service and LMS End Point.

Hi Arsul.

You mentioned this error: "The notification was sent successfully but the returned response is an unknown type".

Was this shown in the External API Management console "Partner" section or "Delivery" section in a log? Have you tested creating a ServiceNow ticket "raw" via the API, using a REST API client (Postman, Insomnia, Bruno, etc.)? If yes, were you able to successfully create a ticket? Did the JSON response contain the ticket details?

I am posting S/4 system alerts to servicenow. I have refered the reference doucument - https://support.sap.com/en/alm/sap-cloud-alm/operations/expert-portal/intelligent-event-processing/i...

I have configured the webhook as per above refence link with Path:"/api/now/table/incident" and it is working fine for both the system SAP ALM and ServiceNow. But while positng below specifice inbound event,it is not working.   

https://[INSTANCENAME].service-now.com/api/sn_em_connector/em/inbound_event?source=[SOURCENAME]&sys_id=[SYSID OF PUSH CONNECTOR INSTANCE]

I have observed that not receiving complete payload in respone from Servicenow. The error in the response of Servicenow in Delivery section status.

Hi Arsul,

Are you using one of the "built-in" template mappings for ServiceNow? Or did you create your own mapping from scratch?

Based on the information you've provided, it sounds like the issue is related to how the mapping is configured. I'm not sure that the "source" and "sys_id" parameters should be included in the URL, my memory is that they should be in the JSON Body sent by SAP Cloud ALM to the ServiceNow instance.

What information do you see in the "Partner" section "Request Data" and "Response" data areas? Can you provide some example data? Feel free to censor/redact any Customer sensitive information. But please keep the existing JSON structure, I need to see what is leaving SAP Cloud ALM and coming back from ServiceNow.
