We have a production iFlow used for SFTP -> SFTP integration that experienced the "'Cannot store file' and 'cause: 4:" condition as outlined in SAP Note 3293244. We do understand what the cause of the exception was caused by and have resolved the condition. However, we discovered that the SFTP Sender adapter of the flow still triggered it's Post Processing action even though the SFTP Receiver adapter had failed with this exception. In our case it was a Delete File post processing step and we ended up loosing the file as we do not store those payloads. I'm interested to know if this is standard behavior where exceptions can occur in the iFlow and yet still allow the Post Processing to resolve? In our case it was a 'Stale File Handle' error.

Hi @Bryan_Pierce1 ,
do you have an exception sub-process with the "error end" event configured ? This should handle the Post Processing action.
