SAP BW resource bottleneck

Hi all,

we are running on SAP BW 7.4 SP14 Sybase ASE 16.0.02.04

We are receiving the following error (at random times) when users execute a workbook and sometimes when the process chain is running in the night.

Anyone seen this before? What resources are causing the bottleneck? and what connection is dying while reading from socket? What does this mean?

This has been solved now by implementing BW SP updates and Sybase SP updates.

BW is finally running stable!

Please check with your Basis team for DB issues.

Also try to drop and create the indexes for the info-cube and see following KBA for more details.

actually the basis team has been working on this for some time now without any result.. we did implement the latest sysbase patch which was recommended by SAP..
