SAP BW Hierarchy changes not reflecting in Bex

Hi,

We have made changes in existing hierarchy.

Two child nodes have been added.

Hierarchy loads correctly to SAP BW but when we run the bex query it does not show new nodes , while selecting the value of hierarchy variable value.

There is no data posted for this node in the cube.

I want to ask if we have hierarchy change will it only show the values to filter on hierarchy variable , if there is value posted against it?

I have followed the below thread but no conclusion is there.

Hi,

If no entries exist for the hierarchy leaves then you will not be able to see them in the query result. When creating a hierarchy in query designer and restricting the char on the hierarchy, you should be able to see the whole hierarchy, if this is the case, the hierarchy is well represented on report level.
