SAP BW 7.4 Automatic Transformation Rule Deletion Error

Dear All,

When I remove one info object from the target of the transformation, let' s say an ODS or a Cube, the transformation rules  which are below the position of the removed info object are all deleted automatically.

When it s direct assignment, it s not all bad but writing the routines and other assignments are a big trouble. I would appreciate if you could help me out on this issue.

Hi, we have the same problem after upgrade to 7.4. It is a bug and until today a have not find solution or NOTE for BW 7.4 SP 07. Problem was removed in newer version of SP. But we need to keep SP 07.

I have just stupid solution how to work with this issue:

1. edit transformation

2. remove rule in transformation (also from end or start routine) from IOBJ you want to remove

3. activate transformation

4. edit DSO

5. remove  IOBJ

6. activate DSO

7. go back to transformation to edit mode and now you can activate transformatio again withou loosing all rules and routines

did you find a solution(NOTE or something)?
