SAP BusinessOne Webclient Extension in PHP (non-BTP)

Hello everyone,

We are working on a web client extension by modifying an existing loosely coupled app we developed, which has a PHP backend and a UI5 frontend. However, we're having some challenges with authentication: we want to seamlessly authenticate users with their logged-in SAP credentials, avoiding the need for them to log in twice (once to the web client and again to our app).

Could anyone point us to relevant examples or documentation on how to achieve this?
