Hi Experts,
I have experience in ECC workflows in MM module.
I would like to know additional factors which I need to know before starting SRM workflows like BRF+,UWL etc..
Is it mandatory in SRM to use BRF+?
Is there a guide to build a simple SRM workflow for shopping cart/Bidding/invoice etc?
Thanks,
Suresh

Hi,
Depends on which version, I think pre 7.0 you don't build workflow, you use badis to influence workflow behaviour. And post you use BRF (although this might be an option and not mandatory).
I suggest to check the SRM pages (and blogs and wikis) on SCN for more info.
Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

And unfortunately BRF in SRM is the old yucky one... not the good new BRF+ one...
SRM workflows have a VERY specific pattern to them. Break the pattern and all sorts of behaviours go haywire. So you really need to stick to making adjustments in the approved way - such as via the BADIs or BRF.
Agree with Rob - check the SRM space
Hi Suresh
To configure SRm process control workflow refer this document :
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-34254
BRF+ is differnt from BRF and is mandatory to have Netweaver EHP 1 installed to be able to use it
Read more about it here ., They say its a better GUI controlled version of BRF but in reality has far more complications
UWL is a inbox like how we have SWBP in ECC and is not really a part of workflow configuration it is used to hold the workitems from different systems like ECC , SRM in one place ..
Hope this clarifies

Vinita
